Lahore: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has rejected a petition against the 10% increase in motorway toll tax, declaring it inadmissible.
According to details, a petition was heard in the Islamabad High Court against the 10% increase in motorway toll tax, during which Chief Justice Athar Minallah asked where the toll tax was being collected. The lawyer said that the toll tax on the motorway has been increased, this cannot be done legally. Chief Justice Athar Minallah asked whether the motorway becomes free or can it run. ۔ The court said that under which law the motorway is regulated, you should not file such petitions, if the petitioner is in Lahore, you can file a petition there.
Lahore High Court orders action against malls and shopping centers using polythene bags
Lahore (Daily Pakistan Online): The Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered action against malls and shopping centers for using polythene bags.
Meanwhile, the court adjourned the hearing of the case for 10 days and directed all the concerned departments to cooperate with the Judicial Water Commission. The report said that final notices were sent to 509 industrial units for contamination of water.
Gold became cheaper
Lahore: During the first trading day of the week, the prices of gold per tola and 10 grams of gold have been reduced by Rs 600 and Rs 514 respectively.
According to the details, the price of gold per ounce in the international market has decreased by 6 US dollars, after which the price of gold per ounce in the world market has decreased from 1933 dollars to 1927 dollars.
Gold prices fell by Rs 600 per tola in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Faisalabad, Hyderabad, Sukkur and Rawalpindi. And the new price has become one lakh 15 thousand rupees. The price of 10 grams of gold also declined by Rs 514 after which the new price of 10 grams of gold has become Rs 98,594.
On the other hand, in contrast to gold prices, silver prices rose to Rs. 10 and Rs. 8.60 per tola of silver, respectively. 1360 and Rs. 1166 respectively.
